What is your name and what do you play?

My name is Susanna Lee and I play the clarinet.

What and where do you study, and what are your ambitions?

I study BMus Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. My aim in life is to become a composer.

 

What is your favourite memory of playing with WYS?
Performing Shostakovich 10 last Christmas. (2017)

What is it like playing with the WYS?
Amazing and so enjoyable. So many lovely and talented people – I’ve made so many new

friends and I feel really respected as a musician.

What is Daniel like to work with?
Inspiring! His choice of repertoire is incredible and he rehearses us so well.

What is your favourite piece of music and why?

Rachmaninov ‘Symphonic Dances’ because the tunes are so memorable, plus you can’t help but move to the music!
